How Do These Procedures Feel?
PDO thread insertion feels like pressure along the skin. For bigger threads we use a local anesthetic injection where the thread will enter the skin. Smaller threads feel like a brief sting, like Botox feels.
PDO thread treatments can cause bruising and soreness for a few days, occasionally one week.
How Long Do They Last?
When they are used to create lift to the skin, you see immediate benefit.
They absorb in about four months, but their lifting effect lasts up to two years!
And remember, they stimulate collagen formation. The appearance of the face from this new collagen also lasts up to 2 years!
The overall effect does depend on the techinques utilized and the number of threads inserted.
